Brian and I had our first official tree this year - an awesome fake one from Target that came with the lights already on. It was great and looked so festive in our apartment!
We woke up bright and early (some of us earlier than others so he could play wii) and drove to Brentwood, CA - in the East Bay - where Brian's sister (Andrea) lives with her husband (Mike). Brian's parents (John and Marsha) also joined us and we had a big Hampton-Schedeler Christmas. We had a great day eating, drinking, opening presents, and just hanging out.
We were also super excited to find out that Andrea (pictured with me) and Mike are having a BOY in May - they made the sex of the baby announcement the big Christmas surprise. Brian already calls himself "Uncle Brian," and we are SOOOOOO excited for the little guy to arrive. Andrea is the cutest pregnant lady ever and we made sure to have plenty of non-alcoholic refreshments for her. It was a great day!
