Last weekend Katherine and I went to the Pumpkin Festival in Half Moon Bay. HMB is south of San Francisco so we took the beautiful Highway 1 down from the city. The festival was full of all things pumpkin, music, mimosas and children in costume (our favorite was an 18-month-old dressed as a lobster - complete with claws)!
We cruised the streets for a few hours, wishing it was just a little cooler outside. Since both of us are from the east coast (Katherine is from Mass.) it seemed a little strange to be at a fall festival wearing short sleeves. We ended our trip with a stop at a pumpkin farm off Hwy 1 where we walked through the pumpkin patch and bought fresh veggies and gourds from the produce stand.
